One day in 2000, Jessica fell ill and was hospitalized. She had no health insurance, and was about to undergo exploratory surgery. However, the physicians could not agree on what type of surgery she needed. Was it gallbladder, liver, pancreas? They did not know. So, as sick as she was, Jessica left the hospital and began what can only be described as a miraculous journey to recovery.

Evan Frank of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia has amazed a lot of people in his few years on earth. This 8 year old has raised more than $9000 in a little more than a year to help provide water wells and clean water for villagers in South Africa.

When 6 year-old Abigail saw the video of children in need of clean water. “I saw children dying, and it made me sad. I was thankful that I had clean water, and that night I said, ‘Mommy, we have to help those kids.’

Young Jonathan Schneider (11) had an idea how he could use his love for basketball to help the hungry. He got his coaches and family members to sponsor him in his “Hoops for the Hungry” and shot baskets for an amazing 6 hours and 45 minutes to raise $178.
