Ambassador Spotlight

Abigail was five years old when she first heard about the need for clean water. After watching LIFE Today with her mom, Abigail knew that something was wrong. "I was thankful that I had clean water- but it made me sad that other kids were dying."

Abigail and her parents began working on a way to raise money so that they could drill a well that would provide water for a thousand people. "I went out asking for money, and if people gave me money I would give them a bag of cookies" said Abigail.

When people began to hear of her efforts and her heart of compassion, word spread quickly and people were eager to give. Within 5 weeks, Abigail raised $5,400. "God continued to use her boldness and people continued to give money."

Abigail's story is a constant reminder to her parents and others that God is real and that He can do great things through anybody who is willing to be used.
